While planning for your cruise, please be sure to complete the online pre-cruise registration form now required for Homeland Security purposes. The Department of Homeland Security requires that the cruise lines submit detailed guest information prior to sailing. This form must be completed for each passenger at least two weeks prior to embarkation. You can access the form by following the links below for the cruise line on which you are booked.

Information needed:
You will need your reservation number (also called booking ID number or confirmation number), ship name, sailing date, passenger name, date of birth, country of birth/citizenship, passport number (if using a passport for identification & proof of citizenship), emergency contact name and telephone number.

Key things to remember:
The name on the cruise booking and manifest needs to match the name that is used on your identification. Please contact us for any spelling corrections.
Failure to pre-register may result in delayed or no ticket issuance, and delayed or no boarding.
Be sure to bring all required documents (tickets, ID, proof of citizenship) with you to embarkation!

Passport Rules – when air travel required:
The U.S. Government requires a passport for ALL AIR TRAVEL into or out of the United States. PLEASE NOTE specifically that this includes cruise passengers flying into or out of Vancouver. It also applies for example to air travel to or from Mexican ports, and from Caribbean islands except U.S. territories – San Juan, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Passport Rules – “closed-loop cruises”:
For U.S. citizens on closed-loop cruises (cruises that begin and end at the same U.S. port), the following documents are permitted for Alaska, Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii or New England cruises:

EITHER
1. A valid passport – highly recommended
OR
2. A U.S. government-issued picture identification; plus an original or state certified copy of a birth certificate from the state or province of your birth or a U.S. Naturalization Certificate. Note: Baptismal papers and hospital certificates of birth are not acceptable.

Please note that you will need a passport if you due to illness, injury, or any other reason are forced to disembark the cruise ship and fly home from a foreign port.

All passengers must present the required documentation at embarkation and at the airport. Guests without the required documentation will be denied boarding and no refund will be issued. Please understand that cruise lines will strictly enforce this requirement to be in compliance with this important U.S. Government mandate.

If you do not already have a valid passport, be sure to give yourself plenty of time to apply for one!

Special note for travelers to Canada:
Travelers to Canada are advised that they may be denied entrance if they have ever been convicted of a criminal offense, including minor criminal offenses and Driving While Intoxicated (DWI). Please contact the nearest Canadian Consulate for more information.
